Thursday, August 13, 2015. Yesterday I finished a documentary on NetFlix titled The Wrecking Crew. It was about the group of studio session musicians who played on virtually every hit record of the 50's and 60's; everyone from Sinatra to Elvis to the Beach Boys. And for the most part they were completely uncredited because the studios didn't want the fans to know that the groups/singers didn't (or couldn't) play the instruments on the records.
