Thursday, August 13, 2015. Yesterday I finished a documentary on NetFlix titled The Wrecking Crew. It was about the group of studio session musicians who played on virtually every hit record of the 50's and 60's; everyone from Sinatra to Elvis to the Beach Boys. And for the most part they were completely uncredited because the studios didn't want the fans to know that the groups/singers didn't (or couldn't) play the instruments on the records. Friday, March 15, 2013. We had wanted to see this movie in the theater, but it never came to our little town. So, when it was released on dvd earlier this week I tried to find a copy. It's not in the RedBox machines and Blockbuster only had 4 copies (all of which were rented out). Then LaRue said "What about the library? As for the movie - we really enjoyed it.
