It seemed like a good idea at the time. Don't ask me, i have no idea. but then i never do. Sunday, 29 April 2007. Ok just a mini update to show you the new additions to my family. Jay and slent bob. Sunday, 22 April 2007. I'm still alive :). I've not been about much and i've still not sorted the phone line or anything in the new place, although i'll be dealing with that this week hopefully. Went out last night and it got very messy. I got very drunk. It was an awesome night out though. But very very messy.

I'll be working in an office for a telecommunications company, that provides businesses with solutions to their phone, internet and other telecoms needs. i'll be doing basically small project management and helping customers with setting their systems up. The money is about what i'm on now. But i'll be working less hours for it :). And getting more holiday time. So that's basically it.

We don't need no water let the m* * * * * r burn! Ok some of you on facebook will have noted tha ti had the fire brigade out as stupid oclock on saturday morning. The story is simple. Thing is, it wasn't my smoke alarm, it was the one belonging to the bloke downstairs. I leave it thinking he'll turn it off shortly. So i call the fire and police.

Monday, December 2, 2013. Resetting PostgreSQL 'postgres' user password in Mac. Edit the pg hba.conf file. Sudo vi /Library/PostgreSQL/9.2/data/pg hba.conf. Change the "md5" method for all users to "trust" near the bottom of the file. Find the name of the service. Stop the postgresql service. Sudo launchctl stop com.edb.launchd.postgresql-9.2. Start the postgresql service. Sudo launchctl start com.edb.launchd.postgresql-9.2. Start psql session as postgres. Reset password in psql session by typing.

Friday, December 21, 2012. Asus RT-N66U, Asus EA-N66, and Airplay. Alright, long story short, here was my setup:. Asus RT-N66U as my main wireless Access Point. Asus EA-N66 acting in Repeater Mode. And NO Airplay was working. No matter what I connected my devices to - the main Access Point, or the Repeater, Airplay would not work. Airplay devices would not show up. Just basically at a loss. After trying a bunch of things - I e-mailed ASUS - and as it seems with most routers - the issue was the firmware.
