Jon * Betsy * Sean * Matthew: Weekend on the Water
http://jonandbetsy.blogspot.com/2015/06/weekend-on-water.html
Jon * Betsy * Sean * Matthew. The happenings of our little fam. Monday, June 29, 2015. Weekend on the Water. So we have to get to the water as often as possible, right? Of course right. We borrowed Dad's kayaks again and headed for my favorite place to take them out in Silverdale. Matthew was up for trying to go out on his own. He did a wonderful job! There were some times he was super frustrated and there were tears, but he persevered and was proud of himself at the end of the evening. Whenever I have g...
Jon * Betsy * Sean * Matthew: Summer Reading in Full Swing

Jon * Betsy * Sean * Matthew. The happenings of our little fam. Monday, June 22, 2015. Summer Reading in Full Swing. Last summer, Sean had a goal to read 100 hours for our library's Summer Reading program. He took a little too long and missed out on getting a t-shirt, so this year he is challenging himself to get his hours in early. Matthew's goal of 10 hours is a little more modest, and he is equally excited to reach his goal and earn a free book. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Just FYI - mostly fo...
Jon * Betsy * Sean * Matthew: December 2014
http://jonandbetsy.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Jon * Betsy * Sean * Matthew. The happenings of our little fam. Monday, December 22, 2014. November at a Glance. The Keyport Museum has a monthly Science Saturday and we went in November. The boys always have a good time there. They are kind of weirdos though. We were making leaves for our Thankful Tree and then the kids wanted to cut tiny pieces of paper for a long time. Construction paper is such easy entertainment. I helped Matthew weave some paper. Evidently cutting paper into tiny pieces is super fun.

Jon * Betsy * Sean * Matthew. The happenings of our little fam. Monday, June 16, 2014. June is half over! Where does the time go? It's been a good month so far, and I need to document it (especially for my mom, who always needs more pictures). We started off the month by going kayaking with my sister, my dad and some old friends. It was a perfect day for being on the lake! My niece's teacher lives on a lake and graciously let us use his back lawn, private dock, and his kayaks. There was a good crowd that...
Jon * Betsy * Sean * Matthew: Cousin Camp
http://jonandbetsy.blogspot.com/2015/06/cousin-camp.html
Jon * Betsy * Sean * Matthew. The happenings of our little fam. Monday, June 22, 2015. To celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of Summer, we got together with the local cousins. Isabel planned some activities for us to do. Everyone had a blast! First up was making slime and lava lamps. Next was tie-dying. I couldn't really take pictures of the process since it was very hands on, but the finished products turned out great. There was a bit of Minecraft playing too. And some show watching.

The Smiths: Thanksgiving in Boise
http://benerinsmith.blogspot.com/2009/01/long-overdue-update.html
A place to grow, live, and learn. Friday, January 30, 2009. Jonathan wouldn't hold still for the camera so we mostly just have pictures of Maddy. It was nice to relax and enjoy ourselves. Maddy shares her brother's love of wearing hats, especially grown up hats. Shuka is reluctantly befriended by Madeline. She would follow that dog everywhere, giving her hugs and petting her. Shuka endured it admirably. Maddy was helping her grandpa get dolls out of the box and decided it was pretty fun to play in.

Harston Family: April 2011

Monday, April 11, 2011. It was a rainy Thursday afternoon in early April, 2011 when disaster struck. Steve was hit with the wilderness blues. The only way to overcome this terrible disaster is to survive a night in the woods like Bear Grylls. Fortunately, Steve was prepared for a wilderness survival situation by watching Man vs. Wild religiously. Steve called up his friend Scott, and together they headed out into the woods. 1 Always have a saw if you want to make a shelter. 6 I was really hoping to have ...

TJ, Emily, Sophia, and Kenton. Sunday, November 3, 2013. Um, and can I say I'm trying to contain myself of my excitement of things to come.I'm trying to keep myself calm, but tonight the kids and I watched Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas movie while TJ was at a church meeting and I am watching a cheesy Hallmark Christmas movie as I'm typing.EEEKKK! So exciting.I'm trying to hold off on Christmas music, but we will see how long that lasts! And then Sophia nicely organized hers. This was her final product.

Clickin' My Heels: Happy Valentine's Day
http://heelclicks.blogspot.com/2010/02/happy-valentines-day.html
Things that make me happy. Monday, February 15, 2010. Here's hoping your Valentine's Day was full of love and sweetness! We had some fun - stake conference! Her other favorite part was waking up and seeing the treats and decorations I'd left on the kitchen table. She was so excited, even it was just some rearranged decorations, mini rice krispies treat hearts, and a couple boxes of cookies from the new Trader Joe's in town (ha! I was really glad I'd taken the time to make it look fun, at least.
Clickin' My Heels: November 2009

Things that make me happy. Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Kenyon's birthday is later this month, and this year, he had a special request that, after some discussion, became No-Money November. The concept is simple: for the month of November, beyond paying the usual bills, we spend no money. Or, next to none, anyway. We set a budget of $120 for the month for gas and groceries. Canned food rotation system, and I'm excited to see if that helps me buy better quantities. Also, I'd gotten out of the habit o...

http://takeawalkthroughsarahsmind.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Take a Walk through Sarah's Mind. Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Athena has a Monster. There goes my active imagination again. :). Friday, December 12, 2008. I pulled my broom out and started sweeping with it and when my mom saw it she burst into laughter. "What, is so funny? I asked, amused at her amusement. She pointed, "You call that a broom? Anyway- if we find our car we'll sell the college one to my little brother, Mike, for a whopping 100 bucks. And, I can learn to love new stuff. Yeah I think it's ...

It was 2007. Beth was in medical school. Jon was opening a coffee shop. Jon wanted to go out with Beth but she kept blowing him off. Jon was persistent and before long, they liked each other more than friends. Beth is now a pediatrician. Jon no longer owns a coffee shop. Now they're getting married to each other. To celebrate with us!
