Him We Proclaim: February 2014
http://jonandmaggie.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
The Hunters - on staff with ReachGlobal serving in Costa Rica. Sunday, February 2, 2014. On January 24-25 we did something new at the International Youth Group. We held a 12 hour workshop on listening. How many teenagers will sign up for a 12 hour workshop? My guess was around 7. My parent's were coming from the States to share what they'd recently been trained in: Reflective Listening. And this was the number I told them. You can imagine my shock, then we had a total of 27 each day at our workshop!

The Hunters - on staff with ReachGlobal serving in Costa Rica. Wednesday, September 25, 2013. It's crazy to think that we've been in Costa Rica for well over a month now. Sorry for the lack of updates; we're learning how to juggle our many hats.*. It is very evident that we have people praying for us, because we know the peace we have in the midst of the craziness can only come from the Lord. Language school is going extremely well. I'm learning Spanish! We love the warm weather, breeze, and mountain view.

The Hunters - on staff with ReachGlobal serving in Costa Rica. We’re so excited to move to Costa Rica and help these students mature in Christ! But in order to get there, we must have committed monthly partners. These partners are friends, families, and churches who want to take part in the work God is doing in the lives of students in Costa Rica. Would you prayerfully consider coming alongside us as we work to invest in the lives of these students? There are a several ways to give financially:. Help in ...

Him We Proclaim: Sojourn Academy Commencement Address, Class of 2015
http://jonandmaggie.blogspot.com/2015/06/sojourn-academy-commencement-address.html
The Hunters - on staff with ReachGlobal serving in Costa Rica. Thursday, June 11, 2015. Sojourn Academy Commencement Address, Class of 2015. This thing all things devours;. Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;. Gnaws iron, bites steel;. Grinds hard stones to meal;. Slays king, ruins town,. And beats mountain down. But the future is vastly uncertain. For example, what was the first thing you ever wanted to be when you grew up? For me it was an astronaut! I wanted to fly through the stars and walk on the moon!

It's Lilly's birth month. and tonight at dinner Chris mentioned our "1 year old". Um, I am not ready for her to be one! However, like I said previously, she is my baby and I want her to stay that way! Lilly at 11 months old:. Waves hi and bye. Doesn't sign because I haven't taken the time to teach her how to do so. Lilly Ann Ireland was born on January 29th at 1:16pm. She weighed in at 8lbs 2oz (which is quite amazing considering the worry our doctors had about her weight gain throughout the last half of my pregnancy) and was 20.5 inches long. She is such a wonderful addition to our family and we couldn't be happier that our family has grown by another sweet little girl! Just like my FL doctor said it would be! He was guessing she would be a 7 pound baby- but probably no more than 7lb4oz! 12:05 pm: 9 cm. Tim and Me...

I cannot imagine my life without her in it. Smiles all of the time. Goes with the flow. LOVES her big sisters and is always giggling with them. Still doesn't sleep through the night consistently, and when she does sleep through the night she wakes up between 5:15 and 6:15am. I REALLY hope this changes soon. Mommy likes her sleep! Cruises on furniture and walks with her push toys, kitchen chairs or anything else that will move when she pushes it. Nurses 2 times a day (morning and night) as of two weeks ago.

Our sweet little Lilly turned 7 months old two weeks ago. For some reason, the 7 month mark really got to me. I literally cannot believe that it has been seven months. I'm having a hard time putting my feelings into words. Lilly brings us all so much joy. Her sisters love her and Chris and I can't get enough of her. Lilly at 7 months:. The week before she turned 7 months she finally began to sit on her own without support. She is eating baby foods and does not like peas or peaches. Takes two naps a day.

Sucks her thumb (I try to give her a paci, but when it falls out the thumb goes in! Smiles in response to us. Talks" all the time. Loves her play mat. Watches her big sisters all of the time. Averys 3rd birthday: THE INTERVIEW. I am starting a new tradition: when the girls turn three years old I will start interviewing them on each birthday. I will ask the same questions each year to see how their answers change as they grow up. This idea came from my friend, Sarah Akin. And I'm super excited about it! Here is Avery's interview from her 3rd birthday- 2.5 months ago! What is your name? How old are you? What did you most like about being (previous age). What do you think you can do at (new age).

While Simeon watched the sun go down in Jerusalem (remember the story from last week? 8221; he asked. James was a rugged man. His hair was tossed and his beard tangled. And he smelled like sheep. But Benjamin didn’t notice—his dad always smelled like sheep… or did the sheep smell like his dad? 8220;Ok.” Benjamin said quietly. Benjamin was pretty...

Sunday, May 10, 2015. 7 lbs 11 oz. Born April 5, 2015 10:38 pm. Bonnie Vance Hall was born on her due date, April 5, 2015 (Easter! I was in a bit of shock about that. Then the doctor informed me that she was born fully posterior (face up instead of down), and I was so glad she kept that fact from me! I was so glad my parents came for two weeks. Watching the kids is such a big task and while my recovery was overall great I had some bad mastitis that hit and I was so glad hey were both there to help me...
