It is good be in the US surrounded by people who understand and appreciate this day- plus, cooking was much easier this year- - we made mom's famous stuffing (yum! Jon and tara muecke. Life in the motor city. Thursday, July 31, 2008. There isn't too much to update you on but this morning I realized I wrote the first blog entry a year ago (yesterday). It seems crazy to me that we have been on "this journey" for an entire year (or more if you count the trying months we had to go through trying to decide what to do! I am sure glad this week is almost over- it has been a real interesting one! I am trying to convince him to ask for Monday off (comp time)- so we will see!
