Choose laughter over losing it. Monday, March 17, 2008. So my daughter is beginning to text! What's the big deal, you may ask? She's a fourth grader! I just got over the "leaving a voice message", and now she enters into another chapter of life titled "texting". She's so proud of herself. Choose laughter over losing it. Friday, April 16, 2010. It's kinda like when. Today was Fryday at Jack in the Box - free fries to anyone. Free is always good especially when it comes to this "salty delicacy". Mmm Hmm. I shouldn't enjoy them as much as I do but I noticed something when I ate all the fries in the "fry wrapper". I thought I was done, (and honestly) I said to myself, "I want more". I could still smell french fries. I placed my hands in the bag. I took out the napkins. I took out the ketchup.

I don't know how to do this and my job. None of the guys I work with can relate and so I'm kinda left to figure this one out on my own. Will it still be "cool" to preach to teens when I have a giant belly? How unfun will it be to take 200 students to Six Flags in October when pregnant ladies can't even ride rides?

This is the first big death for us. And really, it isn't tragic at all. She lived a long, wonderful life, and we're glad to see her finally at rest.
