I thought it was an interesting symbolism of these soldiers working and doing their job. Comments Off on John Michael Boling. October 19th, 2009 by ccyesy · Comments Off on Stephen Vitiello. Larr; Matthew Ritchie. October 31st, 2009 by ccyesy · No Comments. This sunset image reminds me of a video game, that each bar will begin to move around the space. It also looks as if it was made out of lego pieces. Whatever Jeff Baij was trying to convey, it works. The transformation from the non lego look on the bottom of the piece to the top really brings a movement to the piece. The transformation between reality to animation is very interesting. Sunday, April 12, 2009. HELMUT NEWTON: Museum für Fotografie (Berlin, Germany). This photograph presents the viewer with an interesting, somewhat destabilizing. Perspective. The half naked woman appears standing on the bed and is reflected in a mirror above her. The figure at the bottom holds a camera pointing to photography as well as the idea of spectatorship. The below Aperture editiorial quote by Leslie A. Martin is stolen from his website). 8220;Jordan Tate’s latest work wrestles with one of the key contemporary preoccupations of our field: photography qua photography. In other words: How do we see? What are suitable subjects for photography? And what are viable means of image-making?

LyndseaK: Interesting Photos-Body as Object
http://lyndseak.blogspot.com/2009/04/interesting-photos-body-as-object.html
Thursday, April 16, 2009. Interesting Photos-Body as Object. A friend of mine emailed me these photographs, however he forgot the name of the artist, so I am waiting to hear back from him. I thought they were great examples of the body as object-a mound of flesh, a contortion of limbs, etc. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Australian Centre for Photography.
