Almost ten years ago I started a conversation with a girl wearing leather boots, frayed jeans, a black leather jacket, and a sun faded bandana. It was the eve of Halloween and as I talked with Kate for the first time all I could do to keep a straight face was look deeply into her blue eyes to distract myself from her Magic Marker scruff and “biker” persona. Josh and Kate van Rij. Jan 27, 2010. The latest and greatest at the van Rij's is the Sundance festival. We have been jumping through hoops to buy locals tickets for several years now. We love the cinematic magic of the festival, the quirky shorts and harrowing documentaries. We love the director's commentary, meeting people from all over the world, and even the cold! We have only spotted one star together (a hobbit, not even sure which one! Jan 24, 2010. 150 square feet of neon paper: $50. Jan 17, 2010.

Going to Yoga during lunch at work and making friends outside of HR. Wishing I had our Yoga instructors body. Accessorizing more which makes me feel like I have twice the wardrobe. I can’t keep it in any longer! 11 days →. My most ridiculous list of things to do before baby comes. August 11, 2014. Enjoy a full nights rest with uninterrupted sleep. Go to the movies. We went to 2 last week. In both movies there were babies there! Who takes a baby to a movie? Load up on junk food and make a lot of “treat runs”. Have a lot of you-know-what with you-know-who. Look, someones gotta say it. I hope I don’t need to explain why. Enjoy my lonely morning runs. Research and buy the best baby gear.
