This is the same beautiful spot from before that can be reached by beach as well. Beautiful inlet from the ocean. The path goes inland a bit here and through the road is paved, I'm not sure why, as it doesn't go anywhere. It's also very slick with all the rain. Probably the most treacherous spot. I highly recommend keeping your focus on land and sitting as far rearward as possible. I've never gotten seasick before, but had serious problems on this one. A picturesque flock of birds. Journey To Go Pro. Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Costa Rica: Bahia Drake. The boat captain even found us a large croc hanging out on the shore along the way. The boat ride down the river from Sierpe was filled with beautiful scenery. After about an hour, we came to the mouth of the river and out on to open ocean. The Pacific looks calm here, but it would get quite choppy later. After a little while on the ocean we had finally arrived at Bahia Drake! These little geckos were quite common. Drake Bay at sunset.
