This is the view back into Dove Dale, from part way up Thorpe Cloud, as the sun rises and the warm light hits the sides of the valley. The valley is quite steep. I realised that, once the sun had set and the gorge itself fell deeper into shadow, I had a really good chance of capturing a light trail as the cars drove up and down, and so it proved. Taking photos on Burnham beach, I noticed the parallel trails of wind blown sand just up the beach, so I headed off to see if I could get an image out of them. I was up in Sheffield, so I took the opportunity, after work, to head up to the area to see what i could get.
