Monday, May 23, 2011. We couldn't get on the internet for the past 2 weeks for long periods of time so I'm now updating. Here are some photos of Avery:. Finally, a place we can call our own. Sunday, October 30, 2011. It's been some time since I updated this blog (bad girl, I know). Have not had much time for baking lately but today, I had to do something with leftover strawberries so what's faster than strawberry muffins? The recipe was from Joyful Baker. But I added a bit of milk to the recipe as I find the batter a bit too dry. The measurements for the rest of the ingredients are also estimated (after metric conversion). 189; cup unsalted butter, melted.

Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Joel is 11 months! Every day that goes by, we grow to love Joel more. He took a step a couple of days ago, but I'm pretty sure it was by accident. He hasn't shown much interest in walking (unless he's holding on to furniture), but he's a pretty fast crawler. Wednesday, April 4, 2012. We kept things really low key for Thanksgiving, and it was wonderful! I ran a 5k in the morning with some friends, and then we cooked a turkey dinner for just our family. Friday, March 25, 2011. We joined the YMCA a couple of months ago, and signed Nicole up for swim lessons. She loves it! It's so fun to watch her swimming around with her dad. And I love the freedom of Y babysitting where I can drop the kids off and go and exercise. So nice. Thursday, March 24, 2011. As always, I was getting the itch to travel somewhere. As luck would have it, Alex was asked to go to a work conference in Salt Lake City. Perfect! The second weekend we spent with my family in Bountiful....
