Adventures with the (new) gunninks. A Summer of Exploring. Asymp; Leave a comment. This summer has been pretty eventful for us so far. We’ve spent a number of weekends hiking, camping, and backpacking because the weather has been so nice. Since I’m slacking on the blog posting, I decided to combine a number of our weekend adventures into one post. Enjoy the beautiful scenery– we did! A shorty day ‘hike’ to Robe Canyon:. Backpacking in North Cascades National Park. Day hike to Lake 22:. Larr; Previous post.

Saturday, March 5, 2011. Chase is 22 months old. He is almost 2! He is such a joy. He makes Alan and I exchange glances and cover our mouths to prevent us from laughing and encouraging his naughty behavior very regularly. He is such a stubborn child. He says, "No! And "Stop it, Mommy! And put those little arms out! He will come up and just lay his head on my knee sometimes and say, "Aww! He gives kisses by sticking his cheek up against mine and making a, "mwah! Chase makes me smile every day and I am enj...

Monday, August 31, 2009. Happy 3 Month Birthday to Chase! I asked Alan to snap a few pics of Chase when he got home from work in honor of his 3 month Birthday. He took some of my favorite pics of Chase to date. This handsome little smile comes easier and easier these days. I had him in his Bumbo the other day and he would smile and laugh every time I'd say "Hi Chase! Oh, if only everyone were so easy to entertain. =). And a random Jackson story:. The Janneys' Journey: April 2010
http://jjjourney.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Walkin on the streets of D.C. It's been a year or two since I've been to Washington D.C. I think growing up so close to the capitol (my parents live about 25 minutes south of D.C.) kind of spoiled me back then. Picture taken by my Dad (nice one! Chase (saying heyyyyy), Jackson, and my mom (Gigi.or Geeg as Jackson calls her because they are tight like that.). Unfortunately, everyone else in the world also decided to go that day. The Mall was packed! Jackson and my Dad (Gpa).

Sunday, August 1, 2010. Beach 2010- Part One. But I've been busy doing things like playing in the waves, swimming in the lazy river, and eating insane amounts of crab legs. We arrived at the beach around 4:00 after a drive that went by REALLY fast this year. It was 6ish hours but the boys were angels and there wasn't any traffic. YAY! He loved the sand. Jackson tried to fight the waves. We switched over to the lazy river for awhile and eventually headed upstairs to eat dinner (PIZZA! SUCH a smiley boy.
