Our community group leader was a guy, (I think his name was Aaron, but I don't remember) from New York City. He was really great and I really enjoyed the community group time. So just a warning. Thursday, December 30, 2010. Well I am finally an official COLLEGE GRADUATE! Kinda scary. Chicago semester finished off amazingly. Things slowed down with school at the end and I was able to really enjoy the city. I was glad to be done with the work, but sad to leave my students and the city. I definitely miss my kiddos! Sunday, August 1, 2010. Beach 2010- Part One. But I've been busy doing things like playing in the waves, swimming in the lazy river, and eating insane amounts of crab legs. We arrived at the beach around 4:00 after a drive that went by REALLY fast this year. It was 6ish hours but the boys were angels and there wasn't any traffic. YAY! He loved the sand. Jackson tried to fight the waves. We switched over to the lazy river for awhile and eventually headed upstairs to eat dinner (PIZZA! SUCH a smiley boy.

Sunday, July 12, 2009. First Triathlon All Alone! Was yesterday and I FINISHED all three legs on my own! I have some good news, quite a bit, followed but some really, really bad news! I swam in Lake Mead for 500 meters without sinking! Eric guided me to the shore with that famous "whistle" we have in the family! Then I rode my bike in up hill, both ways, in over 100 degree desert heat! Well, maybe not up hill all the way but there sure were lots of hills and I didn't stop once on the 13 mile bike ride!
