The Galat Family Blog: April 2008
http://bryankategalat.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
The Galat Family Blog. Friday, April 25, 2008. Turkeys, chipmunks and squirrels. Oh my! Moving on. SPRING has finally reached us in Connecticut! Riley was on Spring Break from school last week and the weather was beautiful! We are starting to see a bunch of flowers and blossoms on the trees. It's absolutely breathtaking! Also with spring, comes the sightings of many backyard animals in our yard. We've had deer, turkeys, and Tigger so far! Posted by Kate G. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I'm a stay at home m...
The Galat Family Blog: Raccoons!
http://bryankategalat.blogspot.com/2008/06/raccoons.html
The Galat Family Blog. Thursday, June 5, 2008. You would think we lived on a 20 acre farm or something instead of a quiet suburban neighborhood. We now have raccoons inhabiting a tree in our backyard (about 30-40 feet up in a hollowed out part). This freaks me out! Bryan and I counted at least 3 of them and we watched them popping in and out of the tree. Have they been there all along? Why did we just find out they were there? Posted by Kate G. The Galat Family Blog: March 2008
http://bryankategalat.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
The Galat Family Blog. Wednesday, March 5, 2008. Time to take down the Christmas decorations. Yes, I am. Then I will REALLY be the talk of our neighborhood:). Not much going on. I am going in to Riley's pre. School in a little bit to read a book, "HOP ON POP" to the class as they are studying Dr. Suess. I asked. "They said I needed a bath tonight" she explained. Well, obviously, that is the answer, but what happened to the child that poured that cup of cornmeal on my daughter's head? Posted by Kate G.
The Galat Family Blog: August 2008
http://bryankategalat.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
The Galat Family Blog. Thursday, August 7, 2008. Time for another blogging session. We've been fortunate to see some great friends this summer too. We drove up to Albany, NY to see the Sommerville family. I'm so glad we had the chance to visit with them! Plus, the most talked about event this week by my children was a visit from a sweet girlfriend of mine from Atlanta. She was up visiting family in Mass. and made the effort to drive down to see us for the day! Where was the camera? We love each of you!

The Galat Family Blog: We're here!
http://bryankategalat.blogspot.com/2008/07/were-here.html
The Galat Family Blog. Wednesday, July 9, 2008. We were also surprised that he wasn't found at a local restaurant, grocery store, or dumpster - his usual places of interest. So, now it's back to the leash for old Bob. Invisible fence looks better every day:). K in the fall and we're anxiously awaiting her class placement to see if she'll have the same lovely set of teachers that Riley had. Reese also attended a camp recently with other 3 year olds. I wish I'd had my camera with me the 2 nd. It was fun to...
The Galat Family Blog: Milestones...
http://bryankategalat.blogspot.com/2008/06/milestones.html
The Galat Family Blog. Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Again, way too long since I've written anything on this site. As I mentioned in a previous post, Riley turned 5 in May! I can't believe how big she has gotten compared to the sweet 1 year old I remember! On another note, it is starting to get HOT here! Yes, Connecticut does get pretty steamy over the summers. We are going to be away this weekend and the forecast is that on Sunday we'll see the 90 degree mark! I wish we had central air now! Posted by Kate G.
The Galat Family Blog: October 2007

The Galat Family Blog. Monday, October 29, 2007. Pictures from our church party on Friday. Posted by Kate G. Sunday, October 28, 2007. First, I'd like to thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts over the last few weeks. I did hear back from my doctor this past Thursday night and everything with my thyroid is fine. He is not going to pursue any other testing, but just do another ultrasound in a year to monitor everything. So, thanks so much for praying for us! Halloween has snuck up on us this week!
