Friday, September 30, 2011. Free Crochet Pattern: Pumpkin Hat. Size 12months- stretches to 3t. Orange yarn of your choice (I used Lily n Cream Hot Orange) about 2.5oz. Small amount of brown yarn. Small amount of green yarn. Hook H 5.00mm. Row 1 DC in second chain from hook, DC across, ch 2, turn. Row 2 DC in BLO across, ch 2, turn. Row 3-24 repeat row 2. Monday, June 18, 2012. A little pin cushion. I recently participated in a pin cushion swap. It was so fun! While searching the internet for inspiration and pin cushion patterns I found this. I loved every minute of it! I was asked to do a quilt with burgundy, hunter green, and cream (those are their bedroom colors) and they wanted queen size to fit the bed. Woo! Handmade by Auntie Meig. Shorts and a sneak peek! Brandi and I are doing the Shorts on the Line sew along over at imagine gnats. I set out sewing a pair of knit shorts for the twins that I babysit but when I got done drafting my pattern (using an existing pair of shorts), cutting, sewing, and admiring, I realized that they were big enough to fit JJ. Oops! They're made from a t-shirt that I wore to work in Mexico. We're also doing a swap over at Pink Stitches. I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend!
