KnitTatPug: October 2014
http://knittatpug.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 23, 2014. How did I live before Thermobot? It seems to be used almost every day. Breadmaking has become a regular thing. So very easy. Being able to grind grains for the flour is somehow very inspiring. Once upon a time you could buy dark, heavy, sweet and sour black bread in the Estonian style in Sydney. That bread with liverwurst and sliced tomato with fresh black pepper is my idea of heaven. It is almost impossible to find now, (does anyone know where to get it? Links to this post.
KnitTatPug: Oops! What day is it?
http://knittatpug.blogspot.com/2014/07/oops-what-day-is-it.html
Thursday, July 03, 2014. What day is it? This post deals with Tuesday 1st July, in Prague. One of those options was a SIX-HOUR walking tour which started at 1.00. It was only 10.30 or so, so we decided to mosey around a bit. Up the hill to the Castle, a bit of a look around, and down the steps again. That was quite a walk, but more was to come. Jiří With the orange umbrella. A few nice boat pictures. Off the boat and through the streets of the old city, and to lunch! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
KnitTatPug: Wednesday 2nd July. Prague
http://knittatpug.blogspot.com/2014/07/wednesday-2nd-july-prague.html
Wednesday, July 02, 2014. Wednesday 2nd July. Prague. Too warm to wear them now though. On to the perpetual tatting. To fill in time we decided to fit in one last museum. The Palace. It was so beautiful. French empire style, and grand, but some of the bedrooms we saw looked quite liveable. If you are a princess. We had the audio guide, those ubiquitous podcatchers. I decided that I should have a Delft Pandora bead, and that the Delft Experience would have one. (You don't have shops any more, you have...
KnitTatPug: July 2010
http://knittatpug.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 30, 2010. Last full day, one more sleep. There really hasn't been anything to report, other than the regular swim among the usual suspects, snoozing, reading, and eating. The usual suspects include triggerfish, eels, parrotfish, moorish idols, and a largeish squid who hangs out most of the time under the furthest buoy. Occasional visitors are the turtles. And once I saw an exquisite fish I have been unable to identify, with long long feathery fins. What of all the great plans for knitting?

Friday, July 04, 2014. Let us not forget the manhole covers. Amsterdam was a bit disappointing in the manhole cover department. Prague pretty good. I know, not a manhole cover, but hey. And maybe this should have gone under the footpaths post. Links to this post. The footpaths of Prague. Links to this post. Thursday, July 03, 2014. What day is it? Sunday, June 29, 2014. The constant parade of boats along the canal outside our window. A constant parade of boats filled with tourists, families, football fans. They are all there. Links to this post. We are having a rest day today so there is time for a few theme posts rather than what-we-did-today posts. They come in all varieties, and materials, and decorations. With all kinds of carriers and stands. Links to this post. Two museums and the flower market in 16,008 steps. He knew an amazing amount and ...
Knitting Through the Looking Glass: February 2006
http://knitlookingglass.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Knitting Through the Looking Glass. A mostly self-taught left-handed knitter blundering her way through knitting mirror image projects. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Still negotiating the learning curve. Firstly, thank you very much for the lovely comments my first entry received. :). Here it is, post-blocking, relaxing on my lounge. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. I hope my Mother likes it when I finally get to give it to her. Here is a close up of the shawl to show the pattern better.

Knitting Through the Looking Glass. A mostly self-taught left-handed knitter blundering her way through knitting mirror image projects. Wednesday, October 18, 2006. Lattice socks, perhaps? The rather bizarre weather here in Sydney over the past week or so hasn't helped either, as 37 C temperatures and mohair really don't go together at all well - take a quick look at my work in progress bars and spot the problem with my current projects. Despite not really wanting to start another. I really love the comb...

Blue Mountains Knits: Snack Attack
http://bluemountainsknits.blogspot.com/2009/08/snack-attack.html
From the Blue Mountains in NSW, Australia to the White Sails of Sydney Harbour; not a bad place to live, not a bad place to work and a great place to knit. Tuesday, August 04, 2009. Over the past few years the variety of birds in our backyard has increased; Bowerbirds, Crimson Rosellas, Wattlebirds, Honeyeaters, Butcher birds, and Cockatoos are common visitors. Last weekend we had a new visitor and it wasn't interested in seeds. This is the atermath of a Collared Sparrowhawk. Blue Mountains, Australia.

From the Blue Mountains in NSW, Australia to the White Sails of Sydney Harbour; not a bad place to live, not a bad place to work and a great place to knit. Thursday, April 22, 2010. Everything in the Garden. Is lovely. Despite Autumn coming on the garden is still looking wonderfully green. This is mostly due to Chris's sterling efforts snipping, trimming, mowing and mulching. Along with Soya Beans for the Spring. Out the front of the house is another little Dixonia. The smaller, less invasive fern re...

No, I'm not drunk, just very introspective this morning. :). Posted by Julie Summers. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. We'll take...
