Blue Mountains Knits: Snack Attack
http://bluemountainsknits.blogspot.com/2009/08/snack-attack.html
From the Blue Mountains in NSW, Australia to the White Sails of Sydney Harbour; not a bad place to live, not a bad place to work and a great place to knit. Tuesday, August 04, 2009. Over the past few years the variety of birds in our backyard has increased; Bowerbirds, Crimson Rosellas, Wattlebirds, Honeyeaters, Butcher birds, and Cockatoos are common visitors. Last weekend we had a new visitor and it wasn't interested in seeds. This is the atermath of a Collared Sparrowhawk. Blue Mountains, Australia.

From the Blue Mountains in NSW, Australia to the White Sails of Sydney Harbour; not a bad place to live, not a bad place to work and a great place to knit. Thursday, April 22, 2010. Everything in the Garden. Is lovely. Despite Autumn coming on the garden is still looking wonderfully green. This is mostly due to Chris's sterling efforts snipping, trimming, mowing and mulching. Along with Soya Beans for the Spring. Out the front of the house is another little Dixonia. The smaller, less invasive fern re...

From the Blue Mountains in NSW, Australia to the White Sails of Sydney Harbour; not a bad place to live, not a bad place to work and a great place to knit. Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Congratulations to all concerned in the production. Its hard sometimes not to notice! As an ex-choir mistress I found it hard to attend school concerts and sit through excrutiating singing [usually by male teenage soloists]! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Whimsical: A new WIP I finished a little while ago
http://get-popped.blogspot.com/2013/08/a-new-wip-i-finished-little-while-ago.html
Friday, August 09, 2013. A new WIP I finished a little while ago. Not sure why it's taken me this long to write this post. But I finally finished something! The BFG and I welcomed a new addition to our family - Max Chi Stenner Rasmussen. He came on the 16 July after I was induced. My obstetrician came to see me in the afternoon and said she'll induce me the next morning. So the BFG went home to feed the dogs and I stayed in the birthing suite that night. Thougt up by Lien. Whimsical: Some little things for the little one
http://get-popped.blogspot.com/2014/03/some-little-things-for-little-one.html
Sunday, March 02, 2014. Some little things for the little one. Wow, time goes by fast when you're having fun. I've been meaning to blog at least monthly so I would have an account of Mr M's first year. Never really got around to it but I have been taking heaps of photos. So what does a loving crafting mother to do? And actually says that it isn't suitable for knit fabrics. But meh, I only read that after I started cutting and it turned out quite well anyway. I'm not going to waffle on about how being a m...

Whimsical: February 2013
http://get-popped.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 05, 2013. Then the day after my Father's funeral, I found out that I'm PREGNANT! It was such a sad time because I never got to tell my Dad that there was going to be a new addition to the family. So life has been dealing me all these ups and downs. I'm already at 16 weeks this week and the fatigue is starting to get less and less and I'm getting bigger (both baby fat and just fat). Thougt up by Lien. My nerdy librarian taxonomy: pregnancy. Whimsical: November 2012
http://get-popped.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 07, 2012. I was extremely thrilled to find out that Marimekko has opened up a store in Sydney. So I went to check it out a lunch time. All my favourite designs were there. We had bought a quilt cover in the red poppy design (Unikko) while we were in Copenhagen and a few other bits and pieces. I also bought some of the red Unikko in the plastic bonded fabric to make a tablecloth out of. I went to several Marimekko stores and I found it's cheaper in Berlin! Thougt up by Lien.

Whimsical: June 2014
http://get-popped.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 07, 2014. This turned out to be a great idea as it was only a 30 minute train ride from Frankfurt airport and it was such a quaint town right on the Rhine. Luckily in Dubai, we got upgraded to a suite at the hotel and pretty much zonked out after lunch. Dubai to Frankfurt was much more civilised and Mr M was perfect. Completely different to the baby I left Sydney with. Fountain with geothermal water (it's pretty hot). BFG, Mr M and the Russian Church up at Neroberg. Wiesbaden New Town Hall.
