Torstai 21. heinäkuuta 2016. Olen pitkän aikaa haaveillut kokeilevani uutta vetoketjumallia, ja päätin nyt viimein testata miten se toimii. Pieni haasteita oli mukana ja pari kertaa jouduin ompelukseni purkamaan mutta lopputuloksesta tuli kuitenkin hyvä. Seuraava onnistuu varmasti jo helpommin. Löytyi hyvä ohje tämän tyyliseen vetoketjuun. Ensimmäiseksi versioksi olen siihen erittäin tyytyväinen. Tätä tehdessä opin tosi paljon, ja seuraava on varmasti vielä parempi. Lauantai 12. marraskuuta 2016. Tuli niin kivat että päätin tehdä uudet samalla mallilla. Tällä kertaa jätin sukista pois raidat ja tein niistä yhden koon pienemmät, muuten sukat ovat samanlaiset. Maanantai 30. tammikuuta 2017. Toisinaan joidenkin lankojen pitää antaa hetki "marinoitua" kaapissa ennenkuin niille keksii sopivan käyttökohteen. Näiden lankojen kanssa minulla kävi juuri niin, sillä en millään keksinyt mitä niistä olisin tehnyt. Ne odottivat kaapissani luvattoman kauan aikaa kunnes viimein päätin tehdä niistä lapaset. Sunnuntai 6. marraskuuta 2016. Löysin Eurokankaasta ihanaa ihan Lunan näköistä pehmoista collegea josta ompelin sille uudet haalarit syksyksi. Toinen haalari sopii loppukesään/alkusyksyyn sillä se on yksikerroksinen, mutta toiseen haalariin ompelin sisäpuolelle fleecevuoren jotta sillä tarkenee kylmemmillä keleillä. Ohuemman haalarin etujalkojen lahkeet voi kääntää kaksinkerroin tarvittaessa. Molemmat haalarit on nopea pukea päälle ja ne voi kätevästi sulkea tarranauhalla. Tilaa: Lähetä kommentteja (Atom).

Knittin' it up. KIPs, WIPs and stranger things. When Irish eyes are smiling…. January 31, 2012. I’m so excited! I finally managed to finish the pattern for the shawl. I knit last spring (and which, incidentally, got me the second place in the St. Patrick’s Day contest I designed it for.) My wonderful sister helped me – thank you! July 19th, 2011. She was pretty and so skinny. I am neither of those things. I asked a mutual friend about her and all he said was that she was cute. Lauantai 7. tammikuuta 2017. Vähän myöhässä tulee tämä päivitys, mutta tässä siis muutamat tossut jotka tein joululahjaksi. Lankana käytin Novitan Joki-lankaa ja huovutin sukat pesukoneessa. Tässä siis sukat ennen huovuttamista. Neuloin sukat 6,5 puikoilla ja silmukoita oli 60. Tein alkuun 1o1n resoria 8 kierrosta, sitten kantapäätä 29 riviä ja kantapohja.
