November 10, 2008. Lobster and Cake: An Update. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. This is just a quick update to show that I really did eat some delicious lobster and make myself a very chocolately cake. The lobster was simply steamed, cracked open and dipped in butter. Mmmm butter. I can't say the decoration on the cake was my finest work, but it got the job done. A couple days later I felt a sugar craving coming on again and started itching to return to Starbucks. Damnit! They had me hooked, but I refused to be fooled twice. I knew I could make their overpriced bars myself and serve them in reasonable portion sizes that coffee shops seem oblivious to, (since when did muffins become the size of soccer balls? Place 1 lb. of boneless skinless chicken breast. In the freezer for 20 minutes to make it easier to thinly slice. While the chicken is in the freezer prepare the marinade. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup dry vermouth or sherry. 2 tablespoons roasted sesame oil. 1 tablespoon all purpose flour. 1 tablespoon soy sauce.
