http://learninghowtoteachmath.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery. Mark Van Doren. Sunday, January 26, 2014. Student Teaching Week 2. So, here I am at the end of week 2 of my student teaching. I can't believe it! Always working hard to get their work done. I am so impressed with how hard they work and how little they complain. Overall, I've really enjoyed these past two weeks working with the teachers and students. It's been really fun and the kids are getting used to me being in charge rather than their regular...

Learning to Teach: 5 Weeks Completed
http://learninghowtoteachmath.blogspot.com/2014/09/5-weeks-completed.html
The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery. Mark Van Doren. Sunday, September 28, 2014. I can't believe I've survived 5 whole weeks teaching. This is crazy! But then again, I feel like I've been doing this for a while now. This week is going to be midterms and Student-Lead Conferences (a different type of Parent-Teacher Conferences). It will be interesting to see how that goes (I'll let you all know next week). But for now, here's an update on the last two weeks:. View my complete profile.

http://wright4you.blogspot.com/2014/02/im-back_23.html
It's the little MOMENTS that make life big. Sunday, February 23, 2014. I know that I have been pretty quiet around here lately but - I'm back. It seems like the holidays just crept right up on me and then the new year and then I really don't know what happened. I guess I became a little disconnected with my computer. I do have lots of things planned for this year. Lots of projects are in the works. Come back often to see how things are shaping up this year. Small town country girl. Small town country girl.

I've been meaning for quite some time to write a final post about student teaching and my overall thoughts. It's been over a month since I finished, but I still mean to write this post. The last few weeks of student teaching just flew by. I couldn't believe it! And now, here I am over a month later finally reflecting on it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

It's the little MOMENTS that make life big: December 2012
http://wright4you.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
It's the little MOMENTS that make life big. Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Old Man Winter made his appearance yesterday here in the country:. Lots of open fields here. I love this look of wide open spaces without any kinds of tracks. Couldn't resist this one. This cat was perched down on a rock drinking from the ditch. The trees are heavy with the snowfall. There is something about this old barn that catches my attention everytime. Love the look, not too fond of the icy roads though. Links to this post.

Now some days are just ok but others are just right down fun. Two of our kitchen people really got into the Halloween spirit. Let me introduce you to our two new "lunch ladies". It's the little MOMENTS that make life big: Our first egg
http://wright4you.blogspot.com/2013/07/our-first-egg.html
It's the little MOMENTS that make life big. Saturday, July 27, 2013. FINALLY - the chickens have started to earn their keep. We got our first egg. Ok I know that may not sound exciting to everyone but to us it is (yes we get excited over little things). Alexis just about stepped on it when she went to put the chickens away for the night. They haven't quite got it figured out to use the nesting boxes yet. They've grown haven't they? Small town country girl. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

It's the little MOMENTS that make life big: April 2013
http://wright4you.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
It's the little MOMENTS that make life big. Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Two weeks ago, the high school here had tryouts for cheerleaders for next year. Alexis thought that would be something she would like to do. She went to the clinic and learned the cheer and a short dance. After the tryouts, she came home and wasn't sure how she felt about it. About two hours later she received a text that said:. Congratulations you made the 2013-2014 cheer team". Small town country girl. Links to this post. Maybe one ...
