Monday, June 30, 2008. Tac just arrrived back into the cave mere hours ago. What a freaking mess. The house gets this way when your entire clan head west for Iron. I am still collecting my thoughts over the entire IMCDA experience and will share more later with pics. Bigun and I are recording the infamous post Ironman podast this week so stay tuned this weekend for the show (hopefully). But for now I leave you with a gift Triboomer. Gave me.(you rock man). Wednesday, September 30, 2009. 10 days to Ironman. OK feeling better now. Now for more interesting news. The signage for Trimama is coming along nicely. Thank you for all the suggestions. I belive the current front runner is. C'mon Tacky, you'll be 3 times the Ironman that Bigun is! Need more suggestions to make the top five list that I'll publish soon! Here is a little taste of what the race looks like in Hawaii. Posted by Taconite Boy. Sunday, September 13, 2009. So I need some sign suggestion. 3 Make ...

TRIMAMA: May 2008
http://trimama.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 24, 2008. Well, Al didn't drown. He actually bought a training pack, so it will be back to the pool with the hopes that my lip enunciation will be sufficient. Did I mention Al speaks only broken english. Shows how articulate Trimama truly is; I am wicked at charades though. I rode most of the time with Jumper. That includes the water temperature. You won't hear a single murmur out me about 52 degree water. Not a peep. My lips will be chattering too hard to say anything at all. I want to com...

Iron_Tri_Tim: IM Florida Part 4
http://irontritim.blogspot.com/2008/11/im-florida-part-4.html
My journey towards Fatherhood, as well as my second Ironman. Thursday, November 6, 2008. IM Florida Part 4. This year I knew I was in much better shape coming out of T1, I ran the first mile and mentally I was thinking just get to the first aid station and see how I feel. At about 0.9 cramps in my thighs started and I wondered if this was to be where it all went to pieces again. I made it into the aid station before it flared up though. The final turn around came and I saw the clock and knew a sub 1hr 40.

My journey towards Fatherhood, as well as my second Ironman. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. BFIT Challenge, Donation Request, Races. Wow, thank you to everyone who voted for me on the BFIT challenge. I won, and this week recieved my lovely new Rudy TT Helmet. So far its had one outing and that was on the trainer :-), not sure it made me any faster on the trainer, but I sure felt faster! Note the serious look :-). Looking forward to being able to use it in a race and see if it has any effect. The mile to T1, g...

Iron_Tri_Tim: How long is too long?
http://irontritim.blogspot.com/2008/11/how-long-is-too-long.html
My journey towards Fatherhood, as well as my second Ironman. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. How long is too long? Theoretically speaking how long is too long to still be wearing you IM participant bracelet? 1 day post race? 1 week post race? 1 month post race? 6 months post race? The organisers of the following years IM cut it off? Tuesday, November 25, 2008. November 25, 2008 at 12:17 PM. My vote would be Never - just collect them on the wrist and ankles. November 25, 2008 at 12:49 PM. You could frame them!

Tuesday, September 09, 2008. Tac's not a Stripper. He's a Professional Stripper. According to Madison Nightly News Tac Boy is more then just a Stripper. Posted Sunday, September 7, 2008 - - 1:45pm. I'm sure we've all heard that time is money. So what keeps Ironman * volunteers* coming back? As N-B-C 15's Barclay Pollak reports - it may not be what they get but more so what other people lose. You could say that Brian Holmes of Minneapolis is a professional stripper. Ed Koehl the Ironman's Volunteer Organiz...
