Saturday, January 7, 2017. WE GOT A LITTLE. Yes, we did get a flake or two of the white stuff. Not enough to totally cover the ground, but it came down hard and the kiddos around here, played outside in it until nearly 11 o'clock last night. I was already in bed and kept hearing giggling, etc., so got up to look out, and sure enough, they were running and playing and having such a good time. Monday, January 9, 2017. Before we turn around twice, it will be spring and warmer temps, blue skies and flowers starting to bloom. However, winter is necessary for the balance. 24 this morning. In addition to Aryn's mono situation, our daughter Jennifer, and son in law Kelly, went to a delayed Christmas party for his work. It was held at a new restaurant in downtown Chattanooga,. So, we are hoping that all the 'bad' things are behind us, and we can all go forward in the new year with hope and happiness.

Today is going to be a great day! Tuesday, June 30, 2015. My Brother-in-law Jerry had his angioplasty yesterday and spent the night in the hospital! I visited with him and my Sister Barbara for a while and went to see my Sister Cindy's Father-in-law in rehab! Hospitals can be pretty frustrating! Lots of walking, nurses and other hospital staff who speak a different language and beeping machines! The Nurse who was taking Jerry's information after he returned to his room was from Japan! BECAUSE HE LOVED ME.
