Today is going to be a great day! Saturday, August 8, 2015. I gave it a try. One of my Blog buddies posted about cooking corn in the oven, in the shuck! OK, I will give that a try! You just throw it in the oven and this is what you get! It was DE-LICIOUS and super easy, perfect for me:) 425 degrees for 20 minutes, open and eat! Even the silks come off easy:). My Brother Leon says that he cooks an ear of corn in the microwave! Put it in the microwave, in the shuck. 5 minutes:). I will be trying that too!

Monday, August 3, 2015. Progress on the Covered and Screened In Porch and Deck. The carpenter crew finished up the screened in porch and deck today and loaded up all of their equipment and left. I am so excited and pleased with the results! The actual porch is 16' x 16' and the deck is about 8' x 10'. The deck connects the porch with the den on the right and was made especially to house the charcoaler. Treasure every moment you have with your loved ones. White Lace and Promises.
