Friday, March 28, 2014. Gathering with extended family: grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, for Thanksgiving and Christmas a tradition in the South. Entering the home of an aunt or grandparent the aromas of the different foods prepared for the feast would always get a person salivating. All of the girls in the family at one time or another went to Grandmother’s to help in the process of the Dressing; each of us learning how the mixture should look, smell and taste before baking it. I am sure of it!
