Real Life. Real Photos. A little Family Fun…. October 27, 2010. Last week I got to spend the afternoon photographing one of my favorite families. Lane is our pastor at Bridge Church. And Brandon and I have been so incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to serve alongside such an amazing family, and learn from such a gifted teacher of God’s word. Their two boys are precious, and definitely make me want a little boy of my own….but I’m just destined for girls! Enjoy some of my favorites. You are comment...

The View From Where We Are. You are currently browsing the monthly archive for July 2010. July 29, 2010 in Uncategorized. We have been blessed to have both sets of parents come visit us this summer–my parents in June and James’ parents right now. We spent this past week touring Bulgaria with the Covingtons. We were so excited for the chance to finally see Bulgaria outside of Sofia. This country has so many great places to visit, and I feel like we only scratched the surface. Unending fields of sunflowers.

The View From Where We Are. You are currently browsing the monthly archive for August 2010. August 29, 2010 in Uncategorized. Yesterday we had gorgeous weather here, so we all decided to spend the day up on Mt. Vitosha. We see Vitosha everyday, since it’s one of the dominating landmarks in Sofia, but we have just never gotten around to going up to the top. We stopped for lunch near the top at a cafeteria-style restaurant. This is also a ski hut in the winter. August 28, 2010 in Uncategorized. OK, so mayb...

The View From Where We Are. You are currently browsing the monthly archive for March 2010. March 30, 2010 in Uncategorized. The grass is not always greener on the other side. Now, don’t hear me complaining. I am still very much enjoying the benefits of public transportation, and the lessened responsibilities that come with not having a car. But, city buses, trams, taxis, and metro lines all have their pros and cons. I just responded: No, I need to cool off. It feels great out here. And so we set ...As we...

The View From Where We Are. You are currently browsing the monthly archive for October 2010. October 27, 2010 in Uncategorized. With so many changes happening in our lives, and since “the view from where we are” is no longer a very appropriate title for our blog (I mean, who wants to see a picture of the interstate in Fayetteville or the apartment buildings across the courtyard from us), I decided to start a new blog. You can find it here. Andrea on Baby Updates. Andrea on Baby Updates.

Monday, February 27, 2012. So you know how you can identify the best missionaries at a missions conference by the coolness of their opening line? How if the first words they utter are fantastically foreign to your ears it must mean that they are amazingly gifted communicators and have fully adapted to the language and culture that they are serving in? Okay, maybe that was just my thought as a child. Anyway, that's not what I'm writing about. If you're anything like me, you probably spent some time in sch...

Faith's Findings: April 2015

Friday, April 10, 2015. Confession: I need you to man up! Disclaimer: I really home you read this with my inflection and sarcastic ways. I’ve come to a point in li. Fe where I desire a child more than a husband. Men, I blame you for this. See, I have a solid relationship with the Lord. I am in this different. Season of life and it is beautiful. There have been many heartbreaks, which have come with many beautiful lessons. He truly is the lover of my soul. You claim to be a man after God’s heart, bu...

Faith's Findings: What Matters
http://faithsfindings.blogspot.com/2015/07/what-matters.html
Thursday, July 23, 2015. I have an early morning and a full day with hormonal, teenage girls tomorrow. It's late and where am I? I just left the bed, where I was cuddled up with a certain dimpled face little boy, so that I can put to life the stirring within. We live in a fallen world. With events just this summer, I don't think many will disagree with me. We live in a messed up world. I won't sit here and pretend that I know what it's like to be a man trapped in a woman's body or vice versa. My heart ac...

Faith's Findings: January 2015

Thursday, January 15, 2015. Staring me in the face- - - taunting me. Laughing that sinister laugh. Age is just a number.". Age is a state of mind.". 8220;You will be a real grown up now.”. 8220;Thirty is the new twenty.”. 8220;Everything starts falling apart after 30 hits.”. I've been told both of these recently when mentioning my dread of turning 30. When I've pictured 30, it never looked like this- - seriously. 30- -if I keep saying it, it will become easier to swallow, right? I know who I am. Like...
