Sunday, July 20, 2014. Audri and her food. Whoa I am SO behind, it is overwhelming. Now that we (finally) purchase a new computer, I feel it is time to get caught up on this blog. Saturday, December 5, 2009. My Favorite Christmas Cookie. 2 cups powdered sugar. 1 1/4 cups shortening. 2 cups sifted flour. Optional: 1/2 cup ground nuts, chocolate sprinkle or colored sprinkles. Mix ingredients in order given. Roll into 2 inch thick logs, wrap in waxed paper and chill. When ready to bake, slice into 1/4 inch thick slices and bake 7-12 minutes at 350 degrees on an ungreased cookie sheet or on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
