Third Street Books - the blog. Tidbits and thoughts from your local bookseller. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. A kids book, not for kids. I apologize if this book (or even the idea of it) offends you. That is not my intent. As a parent, and a book lover, I just thought this was funny. For more information about the title, to be released in October. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Third Street Books - the blog: December 2011
http://thirdstreetbookstheblog.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Third Street Books - the blog. Tidbits and thoughts from your local bookseller. Friday, December 9, 2011. This whole Ditch Amazon Day has been interesting, to say the least. We have received much more publicity about it than I ever thought (booksellers like to share news, especially of bold moves against The Man). There have been some flubs. One news outlet listed the wrong store in their article. Another just listed that we are asking people to bring in proof that they bought. Wednesday, December 7, 2011.

Third Street Books - the blog. Tidbits and thoughts from your local bookseller. Monday, May 2, 2011. Half the Sky. Or, even a sliver of sky will do. In preparation for Nicholas Kristof. S visit to McMinnville this evening. I have been re-reading some parts of his book Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide. We may not succeed in educating all. Third Street Books - the blog. Tidbits and thoughts from your local bookseller. Monday, October 17, 2011. A nice little piece in the Economist about the changing industry. I mean, as humans, could we survive without them? Physiologically, yes. But emotionally? I have always thought that owning a book store would be an ideal job but so many are struggling these days. Our local independent store closed last summer along with Borders. Its very sad. December 6, 2011 at 3:31 PM. Third Street Books's Fan Box.

Just Some Things | Thoughts on writing, life, and whatever else comes to mind.
Thoughts on writing, life, and whatever else comes to mind. April 11, 2013. Book trailers are a thing, I guess. If you want people to want your book, you need to communicate in a language they’ll understand, and people understand trailers. I’m not sure I like the idea of a book trailer. It just feels wrong, or at least a bit silly. If I ever write a book, I will probably not be marketing it with a trailer. What do you folks think? April 11, 2013. The dorm bathroom in all its glory. A collection of random thoughts, ideas, links, and just about anything. Friday, March 26, 2010. Steamed Chicken with D.O.M Liquor. I was also advised to refrain from touching water, in the sense that I can only bathe once a day and maybe 3 times a week or alternate days, not everyday. Also, If I do bathe, the water must be warm. and if possible boil the water with ginger, and use that to bathe. It's Steamed Chicken with D.O.M Liquor. 3 tbsp DOM (D.O.M) Benedictine liquor (法国廊酒). 1/2 tbsp sesame oil.

Linkiny žeru už od malička, vždycky jsem na ně chtěla jet a vidět je naživo, bohužel se mi nikdy nenaskytla příležitost. Teď tady ta příležitost je, člověk by řekl že je to splněný sen. Some random guy's thoughts on life, love, philosophy, and everything else. What is true love? Posted by Just Some Guy. On March 15, 2011. Some years ago I waited tables on the graveyard shift at an IHOP. I became friends with one of the cooks and we went out for drinks one night we were both not working.
