The goings and comings of some very ordinary people. Friday, February 14, 2014. My friend Ann is an amazing photographer. Her gift to new mama's is a newborn photo shoot and I couldn't think of a better gift. I've never had newborn pictures taken before, but I'm so grateful I did this time. These are TREASURE! She just came to my home, took picture in my living room, and the results are real life and real beautiful. I love the lighting, the natural feel, and I love how tiny that 9 pound baby looks.

In reference to the title, man it can be so frustrating trying to communicate with little people who lack the language skills to tell you what the problem is. He rolled over for the first time last week! He has found his toes and loves to play with them. He's moved up to a size 2 diaper and weighs 14 lbs! We went out while it was raining, "PUDDLES!

December never felt so wrong. Wednesday, January 4, 2012. No posts about zoey's first christmas. I'll confess, december didn't go how I had planned, ok hoped. I was just trying to stay on top of the basics and didn't really touch on christmas celebrations/traditions at all. It's a new year and I am getting a fresh start! A few years ago I finally discovered a few keys to successfully completing my new years resolutions. First, keep it to 3 or 4. Whether to family, friend, cyberspace, whatever works.

Tippets Family New Years Resolutions 2014. 1 Spiritual- Read our scriptures over breakfast instead of at bedtime. Because I work 3-5 nights a week I miss family scripture study and that just isn't acceptable anymore. I think I'm gonna make some cheesy sign like "A scripture a day keeps satan at bay" to post on the fridge as a reminder for the more forgetful members of the family. 2 Physical- Less processed snacks.

I wanted to capture pictures with more than just my phone. And I'm sure glad I did. I think looking to find good pictures helps me to be more aware of what's around me and to appreciate it more fully. These are pulled straight off the camera, I didn't do any editing to them. Macey loved decorating her own shirt and it was probably way cooler than one of those screen printed shirts anyhow. And not only did Macey decorate her shirt but Jane needed to embellish hers and both of the little boys needed to make things too.
