Monday, November 30, 2009. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with lots of food, family, and friends. We were fortunate enough this year to be able to travel to Mississippi for the holiday and visit with our families. The boys loved playing with all of their cousins while the adults enjoyed good food, conversation, and shopping. Thursday, December 24, 2009. Yesterday the boys and I spent the afternoon at the park enjoying the beautiful 78 degree weather. Today, we are standing in the kitchen watching it snow. Sunday, June 28, 2009. Dropped into the 80's and we got a quick shower. I was so excited about the cooler weather. Fast forward 8 hours. we awoke to overcast skies (yeah- cooler temperatures. There were at least 2 bike accidents as a result of the heavy rain. Scott did continue to bike and run while the boys and I hung out under the umbrella and in the restroom (the only building on the premises). My new packing list for trips to Lubbock:. Dust mask for dust storms. Way To Go Scott. Scott finished 4 th.

Saturday, May 30, 2009. Awards and Last Day. Isaac finished school on Friday, May 29. I cannot believe his is not a 3rd grader. Please don't make the mistake of calling him a 2 nd. Thursday afternoon was the school Awards Assembly. I was so proud of all the awards Isaac won. He was the high point getter in AR in his class and the 3rd place for the entire 2 nd. Saturday, July 25, 2009. Those of you who know me well know I love to cook and have people over to eat. I don't get to have dinner guest nearly as often as I would like and can usually roll with the punches if someone happens to stop by, but not tonight. Saturday, January 31, 2009. We had a blast in Las. Vegas Hubby did a most excellent job of planning the trip. He kept the secret up until the morning we were leaving. I was so excited! He made reservations at "The Bellegio. Had tickets for "O" by Cirque du. And we also got tickets for "Blue Man Group" once we got there. The shows were fabulous. We also enjoyed wonderful food. Monday, December 21, 2009. Time, Isaac looks at the house and kindly points out that the wall has completely collapsed into the house. I now have to remove the roof in order to straighten the wall. We finally managed to get the roof re-attached and begin to cover the house with candy. Now, my wonderful bonding activity becomes a battle between two boys who both take after their mom and have strong opinions. Good for you for sticking in there and getting this little bit of fun DONE! Love the final project.
