Sunday, July 25, 2010. The schools are having difficulty with this issue because most of it takes place off of school grounds and they only have the authority to stop the "speech" part of it. Schools don't just want to punish the offenders but also stop the problem, make the parents aware of what's going on. Thus schools want to give educational presentations on the dangers of cyberbullying to show kids what it can do to their peers. Monday, July 19, 2010. Http:/ www.modelmayhem.com. http://nicoleaccuardi.blogspot.com/2010/08/how-powerpoints-make-me-feel.html
Monday, August 2, 2010. How powerpoints make me feel. I loved in the presentation Alexis gave how all the visuals had a nice clear contrast that supported her text. She used flow charts to explain what was happening with the environment and I loved that! I also liked how she had photos of satellites and sechis and what they did. It was very clear. I thought she did a great job of focusing her images. I think that powerpoint can be a very useful tool. I am not very big on lecturing, but I do think tha...

http://leejaylee.blogspot.com/2010/08/can-you-hear-me-now-how-about-now.html
The World As I See It. Sunday, August 1, 2010. Can you hear me now? The answer to these questions, unfortunately, is yes the entire class can hear you. I am fully aware that my position on this topic will make me sound sixty years old and crotchety however I am who I am. I am a vehement no vote on the issue to utilizing cell phones in the classroom. I understand the potential for good but why tempt someone? August 3, 2010 at 9:51 PM. I am with you on the no vote! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://leejaylee.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
The World As I See It. Friday, August 6, 2010. Unfortunately, an often overlooked problem with the new wave of technology in classrooms is that there are still many children that have no or little access to computers outside of school. There is no question that incorporating technology into a classroom where all the students have outside access is a great way to prepare them for the technological future. However what happens if some of the students do not have outside computer access? Can you hear me now?

Thursday, July 15, 2010. Digital Native/Digital Immigrant Como! As a social studies teacher, I like to incorporate first hand accounts into the lessons. The Internet is a great place to access many of these in a short period of time. I also believe in the use of music in the classroom, and the Internet is a place to access many different scores.
