One of the true highlights of our vacation was our first night on the boat. we docked and set up camp, waiting for the flying foxes to come out. As mentioned previously, the captain was fishing off the back of the boat. you can see the nice fish he caught. W enjoyed watching him fish. Not sure why s is making a pouty face. maybe she wanted to be the one fishing. We're on the top deck waiting! It started off slow. Im enj...

Weidners: Isn't It About Time? Blog title open to revision. Sunday, June 23, 2013. It’s been one year, fools. I also think this accounts for a lot of the melancholy of my previous adult life. For a person who clearly lives to be bound with another, I find it little wonder that dating, with all its lightness and impermanency, did not agree with me. Perhaps all the angst and disquiet of that time was merely my inner self knowing that it was not good for Mish to be alone? July 1, 2013 at 9:34 PM. Sweet post...

Saturday, December 10, 2011. Elderly Men, Bee $ Bling, and Flenna. Blind, snarky, loveable Dean. This guy never failed to give me a hard time for trying to recruit him for activities. He also never failed to seek me out afterwards to inform me that he went to them. He's my favorite. Not an icky one. Cause he's my favorite. Oh, so then I shot the breeze with Bee Money and we said our goodbyes. Frankly, the Bee $ issue troubles me. How do you solve a problem like Bee Money? Oh right, Flenna. Flenna: th...

Granny's Vital Vittles. Search 400 Real Food Sites. Did Grandma Eat Gluten? June 9, 2013. Take a trip thru the grocery store and you’ll find gluten-free. Well, call me a skeptic but I remember when the idea of eliminating wheat. Was deemed a bit fringe. After all wheat has been a staple of the human diet for millenia. I use traditional diets as my yardstick for determining what my diet should look like. After all, it’s gotten the human race this far hasn’t it? Now, I understand that there are many with g...

http://enjayandb.blogspot.com/2015/07/sunday-in-flores.html
Things that grow out of the soil. Monday, July 27, 2015. Sunday morning we woke up and made our way into town to try to go church. there isn't a ward or branch in labuan bajo, but we thought we'd go to catholic service. unfortunately, we missed the service (we got there right as it ended). so we ended up walking around town and figuring out the next step in our vacation adventure. A morning view of the harbor. Some boats getting worked on. Some boats ready to be used. The covered shading is so smart.
