Cilgamore No More: The Conference
http://amylfisher.blogspot.com/2009/04/conference.html
Thursday, April 30, 2009. As I mentioned in my last post, I had the privilege of going to Philadelphia for a conference for women with advanced breast cancer. It was put on by LBBC (Living Beyond Breast Cancer), an organization that advocates for and educates women with breast cancer. It was a go! There ended up being about 20-25 of us going to this one conference. May 14, 2009 at 3:46 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life is an opportunity,. Life is beauty, admire it. Cilgamore No More: Perfect Storm
http://amylfisher.blogspot.com/2009/09/perfect-storm.html
Friday, September 18, 2009. When you combine chemotherapy, lymph-edema, and low blood counts you have the perfect storm for cellulitis (a skin infection where your arm suddenly becomes very painful, red, and hot) and a ticket to the hospital. So here I am, at least until Monday. I love how whenever I have something weird, the docs/nurses always look at it and say how interesting it is and that they have never seen anything look like that before! I guess I am the weird one. My hand is still really swollen...

Cilgamore No More: An Bulleted Update of Sorts
http://amylfisher.blogspot.com/2010/03/bulleted-update-of-sorts.html
Saturday, March 27, 2010. An Bulleted Update of Sorts. Lots has happened since I last posted. Goodness, I can't even remember where I left off. I better go check that first. I got to go on a chemo break for the holidays starting in November. I got these horrible shots that caused me to have a lot of joint and bone pain. It was almost as hard as the chemo. We moved to Kentucky in January. The day we packed our truck, I found out that my scans showed progression. I still have a lot of pain. I had significa...

Yep, like I said, it was a good day. . 160; I am going to miss him this year as he will be traveling abroad. . Sounded like a fantastic day. I am a l...

http://amylfisher.blogspot.com/2009/02/still-here-alive-and-kicking.html
Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Still Here, Alive and Kicking. Sorry for the long absence. I will try not to make myself so scarce next time! 160;This post is courtesy of my dear husband, Josh. It is an e-mail to family. It was so good, I asked to copy it. To preface it, my oncologist ordered the scan a month earlier than I thought she would, and she was already talking more chemo before the scans. Thus the feelings described in the e-mail! My heart is jumping for joy over here on Nellie Lane! Amy, my...
