Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Llamas with Peruvian Textiles. This project was inspired by a friend's recent amazing trip to Macchu Picchu. Truly a bucket list moment! Jackie said this photo-bombing llama's name was Lucy. And a group of 30 of them live there year round to keep the grass down. Sharpie and chalk pastel. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. We just started our new art class session this week. All my students (K-5th) are creating a moonlit tree landscape with fireflies. I haven't seen a firefly since I lived in Atlanta 0ver 13 years ago. What a treat to look out and see the tiny glows in a summertime sky. February 22, 2011 at 9:53 PM. Oh these are so sweet! We went on a mini-vacation to Gulf Shores (and I didn't take the first picture). We ate, shopped, ate, laid on the beach, and - did I mention-ate! Friday, January 30, 2015. Random Acts of Creativity. Alcohol Ink Tiles with Metal Embossing. We combined alcohol ink tiles and metal embossing for a twist. On Jim Dine Heart pieces. The tiles were a big hit a couple years. Ago at my daughter's 11th birthday party here. Directions for tiles can be found here. With a couple coats of Krylon Crystal Clear spray.
