Monday, December 29, 2008. The church went from 100 people at a regular service to standing room only on Christmas Eve. Thursday, September 25, 2008. Over the Moon Festival weekend we took the train to Hangzhou, a smaller town of about 12 million people. Depending on which train speed/class you take the trip is between an hour and a half to three hours long. On the way out we took the D train of medium speed. Sunday, August 17, 2008. Just Lost a Tooth! Eddie lost his first tooth today! He is thrilled that it finally came out after about 3 days of playing with it constantly. How much does the tooth fairy bring these days? He seems so old now that he lost a tooth, learned how to ride his bike without training wheels and will start kindergarten in 2 weeks. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Post-stitches. Kate has a bit of a red scar, but with time, it won't be noticeable. Eddie and Henry riding their new scooters while Ben and Patrick look on. They were SO excited to get these for birthday gifts. They woke up at 6:30 the next morning, got dressed, ate breakfast and BEGGED to ride their scooters on the sidewalk. Thursday, April 30, 2009. Sunday. This was the day after he broke his tibia on a trampoline. No more trampolines for our family! They splinted it in the ER. He was quite uncomfortable and in pain until the cast was put on. Tuesday. This was the day after his cast was put on. He was so much happier and wasn't in as pain anymore!
