April 2, 2010. Throughout the course of the day, I have assisted with math and reading lessons. The students have many worksheets that they are instructed to complete on their own since they are preparing for the EOG. We walk around and assist students with any troubles they might have. I also read with them during directed reading. Grade classroom and the majority of the students tested at a frustration level when given the three lists of words to spell. Laquo; Curt (1999). April 21, 2010. Unfortunately, Monday, April 2oth was the last day at Glen Alpine! During writing, Mrs. Smith continued her lesson on how to appropriately end a story. Using the smartboard, the students read two or three examples of endings of stories. They either raised their thumbs up or thumbs down depending on the choice they think is best on the ending of the story. Mrs. Smith would ask questions such as, “What does reflecting on events mean? This is a folklore from the Spice Islands in Indonesia. I enjoyed this story because it is such a unique verion of Cinderella. My Dog Ate a Lightbulb | And other daily distractions

My Dog Ate a Lightbulb. I changed your recipe and now I hate it. I admit that when I’m trying a recipe for the first time, I follow the directions exactly. Granted, most of them are probably better cooks than I am. Is it great –or bad–because of your tweaks or in spite of them? July 16, 2015. Being forced to interac...
