Thursday, February 21, 2008. Post Prompt #1: "Who was your first favorite group or singer? How old were you at the time? What was important to you about this music? My first favorite group (as far as I can remember) was Nsync. I was eight years old, and my two best friends bought the Nsync cd for my birthday. It was important because it was my first cd, which was a big deal at the time, and because my two best friends liked the group, so it was one more thing to link us together. I agree with you in that sense. I feel like our music is kind of at stand still. Thursday, May 15, 2008. I believe in pro-choice. I think that abortion is a woman's choice and that the government shouldn't be able to impact it. I think that abortion needs to be legalized because women are going to extremes to have unsafe abortions. I thought it was really interesting and shocking that Romania has the highest death rate and 87% of them are from illegal abortions. Tuesday, March 18, 2008. The psychedelic years of rock in the 1960s and 1970s were crazy. I don't think it helped that LSD was legal. Also, at this time I think our society was new to drug use and the government and police officials didn't know what to do about it. Thursday, February 21, 2008. I went to a concert in 7th grade at the Allstate Arena with my friends. The energy from watching a live show is amazing.
