Pop: February 2008
http://crschwimmer.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 21, 2008. Post Prompt #1: "Who was your first favorite group or singer? How old were you at the time? What was important to you about this music? My first favorite group (as far as I can remember) was Nsync. I was eight years old, and my two best friends bought the Nsync cd for my birthday. It was important because it was my first cd, which was a big deal at the time, and because my two best friends liked the group, so it was one more thing to link us together. Pop: Thank you, thank you very much
http://crschwimmer.blogspot.com/2008/03/thank-you-thank-you-very-much.html
Sunday, March 2, 2008. Thank you, thank you very much. If you look at how stars dance and promote their sexuality today, Elvis' gyrating of the hips seems modest! March 2, 2008 at 11:10 AM. I agree with you in that sense. I feel like our music is kind of at stand still. I mean of course it is still amazing and I love music probably more than any other form of entertainment, but I do think it would be nice to get something new. Ya know? March 2, 2008 at 7:46 PM. sgazpop: February 2008
http://sgazpop.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 25, 2008. All Killer No Filler. In the 6th grade, my favorite band was Sum 41. I liked every single song on their first CD I bought. A year later, they came out with Does This Look Infected? Which only made me like them more. Within a short period of time, my taste for music changed. This was my first introduction to punk rock. As I grew older I didnt enjoy their music as much as I used to, and I began to get into rap and other types of music. Thursday, February 21, 2008. This is a test.

sgazpop: Authentic or all the same, who cares anyway?
http://sgazpop.blogspot.com/2008/04/authentic-or-all-same-who-cares-anyway.html
Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Authentic or all the same, who cares anyway? What is authentic about YOUR teen subculture? Does your generation have anything that it can call it's own? If there is nothing authentic about your culture, discuss how you feel about that. Does this even matter to you? I feel that nothing is “authentic” to my subculture. To me, nothing can be labeled as one person’s generation. This is only because no other culture had this technology before. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, April 7, 2008. What has this world come to? It's a shame that the people who are listening to you the most are only interested in you because they want you and your peers to buy their product.". Yeah, you bring up a good argument. It's disgusting that the point of everything now days seems to be for the sake of profit. It's really exploitative. April 8, 2008 at 8:21 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). sgazpop: Capital Punishment
http://sgazpop.blogspot.com/2008/05/capital-punishment.html
Tuesday, May 20, 2008. Conservatives say that the death penalty is a punishment that fits the crime; it is neither ‘cruel' nor ‘unusual'. Executing a murderer is the appropriate punishment for taking an innocent life. Liberals say that we should abolish the death penalty. The death penalty is inhumane and is ‘cruel and unusual' punishment. It does not deter crime. Imprisonment is the appropriate punishment. Every execution risks killing an innocent person. Kate's Blog: Gun-Control
http://katesblog16.blogspot.com/2008/05/gun-control.html
Sunday, May 18, 2008. Conservatives believe that the Second Amendment gives the individual the right to keep and bear arms and that the guns are not the problem, but people are. They believe that a person has a right to defend themselves against criminals and that because there is less crime due to guns. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
