May 28, 2014. Oliver is obsessed with cameras, so we gave him Jan's old one to play with. He mostly gets shots of the ceiling, floor, and his finger. Sometimes he gets lucky and gets a shot of his foot or Zoe's tail. Even more rarely are photos he gets of me, Jan, or himself. He's going to be talented someday, and we can say he starting taking photos when he was 18 months old! May 24, 2014. Oliver got his first real haircut today! I promise to embarrass him with these someday). He looks so handsome!

April 9, 2014. The Zoo and Mexico Trip. On March 22nd, we went to Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake. We figured that Oliver can pay enough attention now and understands enough to enjoy the animals. He got to see elephants, seals, a polar bear, leopard, gorilla, other monkeys, llamas, birds, and small animals too. His favorite was the sand cats, which are a little smaller than house cats. They were very playful! Watching the leopard pace back in forth - thank goodness for the glass separating us from him! Hopefully ...
