Kathryn cooks with Jamie

Kathryn cooks with Jamie. Sunday, March 25, 2007. I watched part of an episode of Nigella Bites. Earlier, the one where she cooks to commemorate the past, her grandmother, her mother, her sister Thomasina, and where she makes liptauer. I recall my friend Victoria's verdict when Nigella's children dive into the fridge at the end of the programme and gobble up the liptauer: 'what did she bribe them with to get them to eat that? Kathryn cooks with Jamie: December 2006

http://kathryncookswithjamie.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html

Kathryn cooks with Jamie. Sunday, December 31, 2006. Grandad Ken's crispy grilled trout with parsley and lemon. Finally, I was given a silicone loaf tin for Christmas, cunningly in the same pale blue as all my Nigella Living Kitchen accessories, and I made Bill Granger's coconut bread for breakfast today. It was very good and incredibly easy for something so lovely - you slice and toast it with icing sugar drizzled over, and slices will freeze easily too - definitely worth a try. I'll be back next year.

Kathryn cooks with Jamie: October 2006

http://kathryncookswithjamie.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html

Kathryn cooks with Jamie. Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Steamed broccoli with soy and ginger. The broccoli was delicious; the soy sauce, ginger, sesame, garlic and lime lifted the broccoli from its usual position as boring side-dish and gave it real 'zing', to borrow Jamie's description. This is definitely one to make again if you like Asian dishes, which I do, or even to go with a simple meat dish. Monday, October 30, 2006. Incredible baked lamb shanks. Autumn comfort food. Yum. Friday, October 27, 2006.

Kathryn cooks with Jamie: Chilli con carne - from Happy Days

http://kathryncookswithjamie.blogspot.com/2007/03/chilli-con-carne-from-happy-days.html

Kathryn cooks with Jamie. Thursday, March 22, 2007. Chilli con carne - from Happy Days. For a while, Happy Days with the Naked Chef. Everyone knows how to make chilli. This one isn't authentic, one presumes, but I've never been all that bothered about authentic, particularly for a dish of uncertain origins like this one. Jamie's version involves:. Blitzing onion and garlic in a food processor and gently frying until soft. Then adding 2 drained tins kidney beans and simmering for a further 30 minutes.

Kathryn cooks with Jamie: January 2007

http://kathryncookswithjamie.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html

Kathryn cooks with Jamie. Wednesday, January 31, 2007. Roasted baby leeks with thyme. I was a bit underwhelmed by this recipe. It's not that different from the whole-baked carrots. Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Where are all the tea parties? Monday, January 29, 2007. Unbelievable root veg salad. Assumption that all those vegetables would cancel out the effects of the cheese, plus the chocolate tart I made later on. Sunday, January 28, 2007. Warmed grilled peach and frisee salad with goat's cheese dressing.

http://whats-eating-claudia.blogspot.com/2007/01/per-stasera-siamo-vegetarianiindiani.html

V...Compr...

What's Eating Claudia?: Dalla scuola con furore

http://whats-eating-claudia.blogspot.com/2006/11/dalla-scuola-con-furore.html

What's Eating Claudia?: Un altro compleanno

http://whats-eating-claudia.blogspot.com/2006/11/un-altro-compleanno.html

Friday, May 11, 2007. Forever Summer: March 2007

http://forever-summer.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html

Saturday, March 24, 2007. I apologise profusely for my absence, I think there has been a conspiricy to keep me out of the kitchen lately. Firstly, my shifts have changed at work, and I now get home around 8:30pm, which although being better than the night shift it means I have no time to plan meals, and most importantly no desire to cook them! Posted by Rachel at 8:53 am. Tuesday, March 06, 2007. Dime Bar Ice Cream. You might be feeling a little. Here, as Sarah. As if thats a terrible fate.). Let...Nigel...

My kitchen diary: July 2007

http://maraskitchendiary.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html

The adventures of a Hungarian in the world of food. Sunday, July 29, 2007. I hadn't baked anything for weeks so I thought it was high time I took out my books to browse. I knew I wouldn't have too much time on Saturday morning and also, our friends invited over to their house in the afternoon, so that meant another batch of cakes to take over. If time is of essence, the easiest to make are muffins or cupcakes. I chose the cappuccino cupcakes from. How to be a Domestic Goddess. 1 tsp vanilla extract.

When Ilana Met Pantry: The 'Opa' Sandwich

http://when-ilana-met-pantry.blogspot.com/2006/09/opa-sandwich.html

When Ilana Met Pantry. Cooking my way through Tom Norrington-Davies' Cupboard Love. And trying to stay sane in the process. - I will eventually. Wednesday, September 13, 2006. With all the lovely goodies I got in Astoria, I wanted to commemorate my trip there with a lovely meal. Which means, I could make the halloumi sandwich in CL! 117 Halloumi, Rocket and Tomato 'Club'. First, I made a sort of dressing - lemon juice, smoked paprika, and olive oil. I also sliced a tomato very thinly. I don't think any o...

My kitchen diary: April 2007

http://maraskitchendiary.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html

The adventures of a Hungarian in the world of food. Sunday, April 29, 2007. I'm not very good at using up leftovers. The reason might be that I can't really think ahead. Furthermore, I don't have a proper pantry and my freezer's not too big so my stocks of food are very limited. And I usually don't like to eat the same thing for days on end - another reason why a man comes handy at one's house LOL He doesn't mind doing that ;). A packet of puff pastry. Seeds of your choice. One thing I didn't like though...

The adventures of a Hungarian in the world of food. Friday, May 11, 2007. 5 things you might not know about me. Firstly, an explanation for my longish absence: tons of work and overtime, and my computer at home broke down, so I have no access to pictures I've made in the meantime. But I will soon have, so keep watching this space :). I've been tagged by Anna. So here are the five things you might not know about me:. 2 My dream kitchen is something along these lines. 4 I only have one book by Jamie Oliver,.
