Brettoh and Dalloh were hitched, friends were reunited . there was too much rain, too much alcohol, too much chocolate, and too much surgery (poor Alby). Bevos big and small. Tuesday, 16 December 2008. Unrelated to this post, but I couldn't find an email to reply to your comment on my blog . You asked about choughs. I had no idea and so I went to look up choughs, and I am now fairly convinced that the huge group of black birds with red eyes that I've been referring to as our resident currawongs, are actually choughs! They exhibit all the behaviour of choughs (now that I know), and they have red eyes instead of yellow which of course currawongs should have.

It's going to be lovely to have some warmth and sunshine and just enjoy some time together without running from one thing to the next. Alexander is going from strength to strength, his teacher is very happy with him, particularly his reading, and he seems to have settled in well at school after a few months of testing the boundaries. We have come to the conclusion she's doing this because she is constantly whinging to be picked up during the day, so spends most of the time being carried around, on account of the fact she's not walking yet, at almost 18 months - I am not worried, just exhausted and frustrated.
