I can't say that I'm really nervous. of course I'm concerned for a few things, but all together, I feel pretty good. It's almost as if I'm a fifth grader again coming into school for the first time. The same questions are running through my mind. What should I wear? Will they like me? What if they don't and I have no friends? Did I remember my pencils?

Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Off I go, again. Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, this weekend has been crazy. Presentation, paper and test plus homework on top. Today we are leaving to go to Barcelona for 3 days, and I will be in Tarragona for a day. I am really excited, we are going to see some awesome museums and I am going to a soccer game! I accepted a contract for a 4th/5th grade position at Rehoboth Christian School in New Mexico and within a week and a half of accepting, I've moved to Gallup, New Mexico! It was all seafood, lobster, shrimp, calamari, salmon, etc. And they were all worried about me since Yaya announced to EVERYONE that I didn't like seafood. Sunday, July 26, 2009. A Day at Bubba's. Yesterday, we spent the day at Bubba and Lou's (Brett's grandparents) out on Big Pine Island Lake. We had an amazing time with great family - Brett's parents also went out for the day! The boys absolutely loved getting to ride on the boat, play in the sand, swim in the water, and of course enjoy ice cream AND cake! Here are some photos from our day! Sunday, December 27, 2009. All I want for Christmas. Is a snowboard. This is all Brady has been asking for when he is asked about what he wants for Christmas and we weren't quite sure if it was a good idea. We ended up giving in and my mom actually got it for him. I don't know where he got the idea that he wanted a snowboard since we don't do a lot of winter sports. My best guess is Diego :). Here is video of him opening the snowboard, we saved it for last. Brady LOVES bowling on the Wii and he also got a bowling set for Christmas that he's been practicing with so we were pretty sure he would love the real thing. We decided to make it a family event and take Jackson along with us too! Jackson enjoyed it for a little bit and then he just wanted to investigate everything - especially the ball return! Playing outside in the sandbox and pool. Hope you're all enjoying your summer too! So I am a little late in posting about Mexico, but our vacation was AMAZING! It was extremely hot, but not so bad when you're either in the pool or ocean for most of the day! We enjoyed some great food and time together celebrating our 6 years of marriage!

Sunday, May 31, 2009. Memorial Day Weekend 2009. I know that I am a little late in posting, but things are pretty busy over here! This is the last week of school (WOO HOO), we are moving back to Kalamazoo on Saturday (mixed emotions), and we leave for Mexico on June 12! I cannot wait to actually breathe and relax in a few short weeks! Back to the reason for this post - Memorial Day Weekend we went camping with three other families, the Staals, the Littles, and the Rodenhouses and we had SO much fun!
