Life in the Big-D. Thursday, August 12, 2010. Meg's first day of Mother's Day Out. She was so excited to finally go. I had been talking it up for months. Flamingos, Meg, Baby Morse #2, and Mama at the Dallas Aquarium. A very cool place; both literally, and figuratively. Meg and the flamingos. She liked them because, you guessed it, they are pink. A Day in the Life of.Me! Monday, August 27, 2012. The North Face Endurance Challenge. On June 3rd, I participated in an off-road 5K running race. I signed up for it months before, and started my training. It was a tough race, but I finished pretty well! The race was The North Face Endurance Challenge. And it was pretty tough! Now, I just did 5K, or 3.1 miles.the longest distance was 50 miles! Are you kidding me? At any rate.my official results - 36:25. I will take it! Olivia even helped me warm up!

A Day in the Life of.Me! Monday, December 26, 2011. This year, Lee's brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Helen hosted the family for Christmas Eve dinner and presents! Lee volunteered to make the main dish.lasagna! He made 4 lasagnas to bring over. They were a big hit! Lots of family, lots of food, lots of fun! Not long after we got there, Olivia ate a chip.went down the wrong pipe and she threw up a bit.sooooo.her dress and my sweater went up into the washer! After dinner, it was time for presents!

Life in the Big-D. Thursday, August 12, 2010. July catch up, pre-baby. We were on baby watch in July. The Fourth of July weekend came and went but it was fun and packed with activities: parades, bounce house, swimming pools, fireworks show (so we hear), BBQs, etc. Sparklers. Good times. Meg taking the opportunity to sit on some other little girl's bike. We never did find out whose it was. Nothing says summer like ice cream before 10:00 am. A quickly melting fudge pop. Preggo candid shot. Yikes!

Life in the Big-D. Friday, November 20, 2009. Our little girl turned two. We spent the special day at the Discovery Science Center and then had a belated birthday celebration when Bean and 'Do came home from their trip to NYC. Thursday, November 19, 2009. I have no excuse but I will make it up to you with pictures! The architects - they used every block in the bag for this masterpiece. Notice the polka dot theme, Meg picked out both their tops.). A Time Such As This. Saturday, October 20, 2012. Gavin's birthday was a wonderful day! It was just how I imagined it to be. Gavin was welcomed into the world surrounded by family and friends. He weighed 7 lbs 12 oz -my smallest baby- and was 20 1/4 inches -my longest baby-! There were so many things I cherished about this home birth! I'd have to say one of the best parts was climbing into MY OWN bed that afternoon to rest and snuggle my sweet new bundle. I hope you enjoy the photos! 7 lbs 12 oz. Hes beau...

A Day in the Life of.Me! Monday, August 27, 2012. Here are a few photos I snapped back in May that I think are blog worthy! At least her Aunt 'Reen will think so! Olivia received this awesome apron from Aunt 'Reen for Christmas. For some reason, she wasn't too into it at first, but she will ask to put it on a lot now when helping mommy and daddy in the kitchen! I realize this is a hodge podge of photos, but hey, at least I'm blogging! And, here she is posing in her new chair from Grandma and Grandpa!
