Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Advice for a First Year Teacher. I wanted to write this particular blog for myself. I know the first year will be tough, so I'm writing this blog to give myself a little inspiration when times get hard. A first year teacher by the name of Esme Raji gave this advice;. If I fail at a lesson or at classroom management one day, I know what I need to do. Try! Our desire to teach, after all needs to be connected always to our enthusiasm and respect for what and who we are teaching.
