I didn't ever get the chance to meet my Dad's Dad. I do know a couple things about him, though. One: He was shot in the side during WWII. Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Advice for a First Year Teacher. I wanted to write this particular blog for myself. I know the first year will be tough, so I'm writing this blog to give myself a little inspiration when times get hard. A first year teacher by the name of Esme Raji gave this advice;.
