The story of one small-town girl's oversea adventures. Monday, April 20, 2009. Finally reunited at JFK airport! Well friends, this is it! I finally arrived home on Friday and it couldn't feel better. My mom and Tom were my heroes - driving all the way down to NYC to pick me up and back that same night. Even after a few days home, it is a little overwhelming, and I haven't quick kicked the jetlag, but it is so wonderful to see everyone! It has been an amazing journey - thanks for tuning in! The weather was rainy in the high 40's and which made digging the parsnips easy even though it was cold and messy. My souper. The Soup Bible - Debra Mayhew. This pale, creamy-textured soup is given a special touch with an aromatic, spiced garlic-and-mustard-seed garnish. 5 1/2 cusps diced parsnips. 1 teaspoon ground coriander. 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin.
