8230;the behinder I get… →. September 21, 2010 · 8:54 am. Unrealistic expectations (or, “earth funk”). Fed and inspired them…and that they, in turn, will inspire someone else. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. 8230;an...

Unrealistic expectations (or, “earth funk”) →. May 12, 2010 · 1:08 pm. Remember that first post I made about one of those “other” supermarkets needing bit of a kick in the pants? Well, they got one! And read up on this amazing company’s track record for selling only the cleanest, most natural foods the earth can sustainably produce. It’s simple. I like it. Ok, I have to go get ready for work now, but please come and see me! Filed under local flava. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Unrealistic expectations (or, “earth funk”). October 29, 2010 · 8:28 pm. 8230;the behinder I get…. I actually wrote this several weeks ago, but have held off on pushing the “publish” button. Things are settling down now, but this just serves to remind me how quickly they can go awry. (Thanks for reading baby…). Then, like magic, I come home to find the toilet has been scrubbed, the phone-bill paid, the puppy bathed in herbal flea-repellent, and even (bonus! Lesson learned…at least for the moment. Follow ...

Huntsville dmv: (D)ingbats (M)oving (V)ery slowly? February 2, 2010 · 5:49 pm. Spend nearly three hours and drive 75 miles, round-trip, for a dozen eggs? This is exactly the question I spent much of yesterday pondering following an egg-gathering excursion that took me all the way from my cozy little home in Huntsville, to the Caddo community, outside Trinity, Alabama. Katie in Haiti... Again
Katie in Haiti. Again. Monday, March 19, 2012. Often we get into this mindset that love is beautiful, easy, wonderful, stars and rainbows and hugs and kisses and perfect. When, in reality, love is messy. This last weekend I did the Seguin hike again, but this time it was just to Seguin and back, and it was with the senior class of QCS. There were 23 high school seniors and six chaperones. We left QCS Friday morning and I knew 22 of the 23 students. Difference for Amber, Robbie, Irene and myself. We spent...

My friend Jeff Laub sent me Bill Bryson’s A Walk in the Woods, about hiking the Appalachian Trail, and being home reminds me a little of Bryson’s experience when he and his friend finally decided to go home:. 8220;‘Do you want to get a Coke? 8217; I said to Katz. Israeli Summer
An American law student's experiences interning in Tel Aviv. Monday, July 24, 2006. Still quite jet-lagged, but home in South Carolina after a night sleeping in the London airport, a couple of days in New York, and an afternoon of jet skiing on the lake in NC. It's so nice to be back and able to relax. Have been watching CNN a bit, but the American print media is a bit surprising- it honestly seems to be more pro-Israeli than the Israel media! Another argument I think is weak is: "Well, Israel's actions ...

My Great Japanese Adventure
My Great Japanese Adventure. Saturday, 25 April 2009. Following on from the update a couple of days ago. They just wander around at will, bothering tourists for fun and getting lots of pictures taken. Every few feet are stands where you can buy deer biscuits, and the deer go mental for them. My host mum bought some for me to feed to the deer, and within seconds I was surrounded by clamouring deer, some butting me with their heads (and in some cases horns! Thursday, 23 April 2009. No, it's erm, KaTie".
