The things we learn along the way. Skip to primary content. Katie is a trained teacher who is currently working as a Partnerships Manager with an Australian University. She is currently trying to decide on which of the bright and shiny things she will focus on for her PhD, but thinks it will be in the general area of the culture change required in educational organisations to support innovation in teaching and learning (or something like that). The things we learn along the way. Skip to primary content. Managing Change, a ramble. October 7, 2014. When I started in education – back in the Brendan Nelson. Years – one of the many things that was drummed into me (along with lesson planning and not smiling before Easter), was how when you went into education, you also went into an environment that would be in a constant state of change. You needed to be adaptable. Click to share on Google (Opens in new window). Share on Facebook (Opens in new window).

It’s the sunlight streaming through the windows as you get ready. It’s your nervous smile and your friends who are there to reassure you. It’s your flower girl wearing sneakers with her dress. It’s the happy faces that greet you with hugs and and smiles and tears after your ceremony. It’s the wind that takes your veil and your bowtie that took fifteen minutes to put on. Sunday, December 11, 2011. These are very dear friends from Sacramento and I had a FABULOUS time shooting this session! These kids are absolutely a hoot and kept me in stitches the entire time. Not only only that, we became great buddies, I really love it when my subjects feel comfortable around me and I was pretty sure we accomplished that when Sam asked me if I could please sit by him at lunch and stay and play awhile after we were done. Here are just a few of my very favorite shots. Katie is my matern...

Katie Jeffries Art
Katie Jeffries celebrates the beauty and intensity of color in her acrylic, watercolour, and pastel paintings. Subtly blending realism and the abstract, Katie's paintings tell a personal story of her experiences, conveyed with passion and warmth, with varied imagery drawn from her travels around the planet. Please see a new collection of bold graphic paintings in my 2017 series FACES.
