Two kinds of ice cream. There are a million events going on in our lives but we'll only remember those that make us feel that "something". These are the only things worth writing about. Saihakken no yorokobi, the joys of rediscovery…. April 11, 2010. Lipat-bahay from Tokyo to Tsukuba. Two days before my move, I was even afraid I will not make it on time to pack everything and that they won’t fit in the two tiny trucks I rented for the move. You see, I have a rather longish semi-double bed that I was not willing to part ways with. I don’t like sleeping on Japanese futtons. Weak back of an ageing. And a thin mattress so close to the floor, a big no way! I am really grateful, thanks guys!

Looking back and beyond. Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Even if I took the grateful and optimist stance in my life right now, I cannot deny that it has been a stormy and unstable year for me. Looking back and beyond. Thursday, July 1, 2010. Me and your mom are preparing for your future to the best of our abilities. We toil and lose countless sleeps to build a stable life - - while we still can, while you are still young, while you need your toys and drawing materials more than you "need" us. Looking back and beyond. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. I must admit that I only have about 15 items in my wish list when I hit 30. But somehow, something crept in and made me want to accomplish a lot of milestones in my life before I hit 31. Around summer of this year, I revisited the list and doubled it. Talk about putting a lot of pressure upon oneself! 1 Own a piece of land. 2 Help my brother finish his college education. 3 Treat nanay for an out-of-the-country vacation. 4 Show more appreciation to tatay.
