Ye Olde Hikers Two: July 2013
http://hikingwithyoh.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Ye Olde Hikers Two. Saturday, July 13, 2013. Bike and Hike at Watershed Park. But we all prevailed. Thanks everyone for coming! Viki all excited to get riding! Paula getting her bike ready. Paula, Viki, Susan and Scott. Paula ended up not doing the hike so we had to get a group photo of just the bikers. Only in the Northwest: hiking with Starbucks :). An extremely awkward timer shot of our first bridge crossing. Viki and I were the tree huggers this time. That's some glow on her backpack.

Ye Olde Hikers Two: Sourdough Ridge Hike @ Mt. Rainier
http://hikingwithyoh.blogspot.com/2013/08/sourdough-ridge-hike-mt-rainier.html
Ye Olde Hikers Two. Saturday, August 17, 2013. Sourdough Ridge Hike @ Mt. Rainier. Hike sure was an adventure. We originally were going to hike to Freemont Lookout at the Sunrise entrance to Mt. Rainier. After I returned from vacation I decided to change it to Spray Falls at the Mowich Lake entrance because it would be a little less strenuous. So off we went, and wouldn't you know it, we missed the turn off from Hwy 410 and ended up at the Sunrise entrance after all! Michele, Tammy and Kassia at the start.

Ye Olde Hikers Two. Saturday, September 20, 2014. Hike to Norway Pass. It was a great hike, and a wonderful end to my 3 year stint as the leader of Yoh! It has been a lot of fun, and I can't wait to see what Teresa has in store for us when she takes over next month. Which way, Michele? Peekaboo of Mt. Rainier. Mt St Helens and Spirit Lake. Michele, Pam, Kassia and Susan. Panoramic taken at an overlook on the way home. Stopped here on the way home for some yummy ice cream and shakes! Ye Olde Hikers Two.

http://hikingwithyoh.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Ye Olde Hikers Two. Saturday, December 7, 2013. Lake Sylvia State Park Hike. What a great hike today at Lake Sylvia! Getting the dogs ready to go. Teresa with her two cuties, Cirus and Riley. We saw lots of icicles. Michele saw a squirrel! Now Winston saw it! Winston checking out the old saw blade. All that's left of the old wooden railroad bridge. Scott was the tree hugger this time. I just liked these cool branches. Winston didn't want to cross the dam so Scott had to carry him. Ye Olde Hikers Two.

Ye Olde Hikers Two: February 2014
http://hikingwithyoh.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Ye Olde Hikers Two. Saturday, February 15, 2014. Snowshoe at Hyak/Lake Keechelus. Today 6 of us went snowshoeing at Lake Keechelus in the Snoqualmie Pass/Hyak area. We lucked out and had good road conditions, which was a nice surprise. We arrived at 8:30 and were on the trail by 9:00 am. I still think the hardest part of snowshoeing is getting those darn things on! The trail is part of the Iron Horse Trail which was once a railway. Pam and Kim checking out the trail map. Our first glimpse of the lake.

Ye Olde Hikers Two. Saturday, April 5, 2014. Wildside Trail-De Leo Wall Hike. I was so excited Corey got to come on the hike. It's the first time she's been in a long time because she is always so busy. She brought her good friend, Ha-Yoon, along. Teresa with Cirus and Riley. Love how the ferns just grow right out of the trees. Pam holding up that tree for Teresa to pass under! Ye Olde Hikers Two. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Rainier and along Sourdough Ridge to the Fremont Lookout trail. We did part of this hike LAST YEAR. The lodge at Sunrise. Andrea, Susan, Pam and Michele. I guess Andrea wanted to cool down a bit in the snow field. These flowers look like they are wearing wigs. Lookout in the distance. James was king of that rock. Andrea, Teresa, Susan, Michele, James and Pam.

Ye Olde Hikers Two: October 2013
http://hikingwithyoh.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Ye Olde Hikers Two. Monday, October 28, 2013. Two folks and one dog braved the cold and fog on Saturday to hike the Big Creek Trail. They missed the loop sign and ended up hiking higher and higher up the Mount Ellinor trail, which was quite strenuous in spots. Luckily no one got lost in the fog and everyone made back to the trail head safely. You can see some blue skies above the tree tops. James and his puppy. Ye Olde Hikers Two. Links to this post.
