Wednesday, 30 March 2011. National Photographic Portrait Prize 2011. After the Modernism lecture the other day I went over to the National Portrait Gallery to have a look at the photos hung for the National Photographic Portrait Prize. I wrote down the names of the photographs that stood out for me and oddly enough they were no the winner. The winning portrait I did not feel as strongly about as the photographs below. Gone to Heaven - Sommer Atkinson. James - Dean McCartney. Les and Eileen - Alex Vaughan.

Monday, 7 November 2011. Group PR - Change of Business - 7th Nov 2011. I have changed the business all together because my other photos I was not happy with and to make matters worse my second shoot was horrible, There was less time then before and no one wanted to help me out. So I got a few friends together of my parents from IGA in young and I came up with these photos. Im REALLY happy with my creative but not so much with my line up. So take a look. Visual Culture 2 - History Of Photography. Thursday, 1 September 2011. Pictorialism gathered strength in the mid 1880s and continued into the 1920s. It was a movement that moved away from the typical empressive photographs to images that showed disgust with industralization and mass produced goods.
